Dr. Mohani Heitel

Dr. Mohani Heitel, the founder of this foundation, was born and grew up in a mountain village at the foot of the Himalayas in northern India. The impressions and experiences of her childhood and youth left lasting traces of remembrance about the poverty and other hardships of the village population of this region. She studied medicine in Bochum and Frankfurt and worked for many years as a doctor and psychotherapist in Frankfurt am Main. After her retirement, she increasingly committed herself to humanitarian aims and established the foundation in October 2019 with headquarters in Frankfurt. The prevention of illness and the maintenance of physical, psychological and mental health are particularly important to her. She is actively involved in all the foundation's activities suppoted by her husband Helmut Heitel.
